To our Congregational Church Family:

by Pastor Craig Peach, March 26, 2020

For all of us, things have changed drastically. In our world, our community and in our church. Most of us never thought we would live through a situation where the very foundation of life has been shaken. We’ve always known that each day was a gift from our Lord, but now that thought has even more significance.

We are all living with uncertainty. Some might ask, what is God doing about all this turmoil? If we are to believe the Bible, and I truly believe we can, our Lord is still in control of our world. What concerns us really matters to Him. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, “Cast all your care on Him, for He cares for you.”

I would like to share some other verses from the Holy Bible that can be a source of strength and comfort:

  • Psalm 16:8, “I have set the Lord always, before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
  • Psalm 73:26, “My flesh and heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
  • And these direct words from God to His people in Psalm 75:3, “When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who holds its pillars firm.”

During these unstable times, Let us all place our faith and trust in our loving Lord.

One, last Bible verse from Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is stayed on the Lord, because he trusts in you.”

Sherry and I are praying for our church family each day, that you will know God’s peace. You may want to tune in Sunday mornings, WRCO radio is presenting messages from local pastors and Christian music at 8:30 a.m.

Sincerely in Christ,
Craig and Sherry Peach
